The Humanities Institute offers more in-depth courses to those who choose to specialize in the humanities of specific social groups. The Humanities Institute courses are interdisciplinary covering, inter alia, history, interactions, divides, beliefs, perceptions, ideas, cultures, gender relations, ethnicity, and political organization of social groups.
The faculty members are experts in their fields of area studies who contribute their knowledge and experience to the courses and encourage students to engage in discussions and close analyses of history and of contemporary developments.
